Insurance Covers & Services Provided by Voyager Rent a Car



1. Free Third Party Liability Insurance Coverage

What does it cover?

It covers you against third parties in the event that you cause bodily harm or property damage.

The insurance coverage amounts to:

  • 1,220,000 euros per victim, in case of physical injury
  • 1,220,000 euros per accident, regardless of the number of victims, in case of material damage

What doesn't it cover?

  • If the vehicle is used by a driver who is intoxicated or under the influence of any type of drug or by any third party undeclared driver
  • Single impact damage to the underside of the vehicle not caused by a collision with another vehicle
  • Damage to tires and other parts of the car caused by driving off-road or on unpaved roads or due to misuse
  • Total or partial theft of the car
  • Theft of personal items on or inside the vehicle
  • Bodily injuries of the driver (only covered if you have chosen the package with the additional cover "driver's personal accident")
  • Damage caused to the vehicle by collision

You can choose additional insurance coverage package to zero the liability amount (optional)



2. Composite Insurance Cover known as C.D.W or L.D.W (in Australia and USA)

What does it cover?

  • It covers you for the cost of repairing the vehicle in the event of damage caused to the rental car due to collision or fire or theft in excess of the deductible amount.
  • By the term exemption, we mean the amount of the lessee's liability which is not covered by the insurance company and is required to be paid by the lessee.

Liability amount per vehicle category:

• A,B,C,D - €750.00 per damage

• D1,E,G,G1,P,M - €1,000.00 per damage

• F,F1,K,K1,R,X,S - €1,500.00 per damage

• L,H,O - €2,000.00 per damage

The liability amount covers, in addition to the costs of repairing damages, the costs of storage and loss of use of the car.

What doesn't it cover?

  • Damages caused by intent or negligence
  • Damage caused by incorrect use of fuel
  • Damages resulting from a breach of the terms of the contract
  • Damage caused by acts of terrorism
  • Damage caused to the bottom, the roof, the antenna in the mirrors, the cabin and the tires of the car or while the vehicle was on a boat.

You can choose additional insurance coverage package to zero the liability amount (optional)

Attention: If the C.D.W insurance coverage package is not selected. with an Exemption amount, the lessee is required in case of damage to the leased vehicle to fully cover the total repair value of the vehicle.



3. Theft Cover known as (TP)

What does it cover?

  • TP covers the lessee for partial or total theft of the car. The maximum amount you are required to pay the company is the theft liability amount which depends on the vehicle class and the additional insurance packages you have chosen.

Liability amount per vehicle category:

  • A,B,C,D - €750.00 per damage
  • D1,E,G,G1,P,M - €1,000.00 per damage
  • F,F1,K,K1,R,X,S - €1,500.00 per damage
  • L,H,O - €2,000.00 per damage

What doesn't it cover?

Partial or total theft of the car caused by the lessee's negligence (e.g. you left the key in the car or left the car unlocked)

You can choose additional insurance coverage package to zero the liability amount (optional)

Attention: If the TP insurance coverage package is not selected. with an Exemption amount, the lessee is required in case of theft of the rental vehicle to fully cover the total repair value of the vehicle.



4. Zero Waiver known as Super Cover (S.C.W) or Zero Excess

What does it cover?

  • Zeroes the amount of liability that the lessee is required to pay for the repair of damages caused to the lease due to collision, fire or partial or total theft.

A necessary condition is the completion and signing of the accident declaration by the lessee in case of damage, fire or partial/total theft of the car. In the event that another vehicle is involved in the accident, the lessee is obliged to call the police to record the incident.

What damages does S.C.W. not cover?

  • Damages caused by intent or negligence
  • Damage caused by incorrect use of fuel
  • Damages resulting from a breach of the terms of the contract
  • Damage caused by acts of terrorism
  • Damage caused to the bottom, roof, antenna, mirrors, cabin and tires of the car or while the car was on a boat.

Attention: If the S.C.W. insurance coverage package is not selected. with an Exemption amount, the lessee is required in case of theft of the rental vehicle to fully cover the total repair value of the vehicle.



5. Extended Roadside Assistance known as Roadside SafetyNet (RSN) or Roadside Assistance

What does (RSN) cover

  • Car unlocking in case the driver has locked the car having left the keys in the car or in case the driver has lost the vehicle keys.
  • Assistance in restarting the vehicle battery.
  • Changing a tire with a spare and transporting the immobilized vehicle to the nearest repair shop.
  • Refueling at the point where the vehicle is immobilized.

What doesn't it cover? **

  • Key replacement cost in case of loss
  • Damage to the car battery caused by intent or negligence
  • Damage to the car's tires caused by intent, negligence or by driving in a non-permitted area, as defined in the terms of the rental agreement.
  • Fuel cost

** In case Roadside Assistance is called to serve the lessee in any of these cases, there is a charge of €100.00+VAT.
