When you drive in Greece, many of their roads are subject to a toll collection system using an electronic system without the possibility of manual payment on the spot.
Failure to pay tolls will result in a fine. The fine is ten times the toll, with a minimum of 25 euros. The authorities will check the license plates of all vehicles traveling on roads with electronic toll collection charges and if you do not pay the toll within the legal time limit, you will be fined.

Before and during your trip

The customer top-up service is available ONLY at the motorway toll booth on Attiki Odos then only at gas stations that cooperate in the road network in Greece with the ATTIKI ODO which you will find below.
You pass through the electronic lane bearing the same distinctive sign, which is known by its respective lanes Attiki Odos, and please carefully observe the local markings of the K.O.K. for the smooth operation of the system.
